The national electricity grid collapsed again yesterday barely 24 hours after it was restored. The last system collapse occurred between 5pm and 6pm after the grid generation had earlier dropped from 3000 megawatts to 1758 megawatts leaving just 12 generation companies (Gencos) operating.
